Who is Berger Abrams Insurance?
Through California Long Term Care Insurance Services, Inc. (CLTC) and its sister company Northstar Network Insurance Agency, we help families achieve their long range goals. Northstar provides policies nationwide while CLTC is the largest independent specialist long term care agency in California.
Representing many of the top long term care insurance companies we have the ability to custom-tailor a plan to a client’s individual needs.

Susan Berger Abrams, MHA
During the past 17 years, Susan has helped over one thousand clients preserve their finances, dignity, and independenceby helping them understand their long-term care planning options. Her expertise has helped many small businesses and corporations take full advantage of the favorable tax incentives afforded under certain Internal RevenueCodes for the purchase of tax qualified LTCi policies.
Her client base now reaches across the country, as she employs “webinar” technology to work with her client’s extended family members outside of California. She is licensed in multiple states. Her knowledge, skill, and experience in this increasingly complex niche market have been recognized annually at “top producer” conferences.
Her interest in long-term care evolved as she completed her Masters Degree in Health Care Administration. She believes in educating prospective clients so that they are able to make an informed decision as to how they want to manage the risk of one day needing extended care in their own home, in assisted living, or in a skilled nursing facility.
Her goals are to serve all clients with understanding, compassion, and integrity while keeping promises made from the time of application through the claims process. Susan represents the top companies in the industry and is a member of the National Long Term Care Network.
